Insurance Coverage

In order for clients to make a claim for holistic nutrition services, their employer must list holistic nutrition/nutrition in the insurable services they offer to employees. In addition the certification number and designation must be recognized and approved. It is the client’s responsibility to confirm with their provider that Holistic Nutrition services are covered. 

Some insurance providers offer a Health/Flex Spending Account, and if that’s the case nutrition services may be included in this category.

If the client’s insurance provider does not cover holistic nutrition services, they can provide a letter to their employer requesting that holistic nutrition services be added to their insurance coverage.
